“THE ART OF DRAWING HORSES” 25th April, 2026

This class will introduce my approach to drawing horses, combining expressive media and experimentation with some anatomical principles. We will explore the process by drawing in different ways and with different tools. I will show you some basic principles of proportion that will help you construct or amend your drawing. You can learn to draw from favourite images in a way that really goes under the surface towards understanding, and leads you make strong free work from imagination.
Since 2017 I have been running classes on drawing horses and helped many people to gain confidence and make beautiful work.
The class will be held at at Gargunnock Community Centre, in the attractive village of Gargunnock, just outside Stirling.
