Glasgow School of Art graduate Diana Hand is an experienced artist, with a special gift for drawing horses with freedom and spontaneity. She is the author and illustrator of “Draw Horses in 15 Minutes” (Ilex/Octopus, 2015) and in the workshop will demonstrate an approach to drawing which combines free expression and experimentation with the principles of equine structure.
You will have the rest of the day to work from your own ideas and images, or to gain inspiration from Diana’s library of books and photographs along with with her personal advice and guidance as desired. This class is suitable for all artists from complete beginners to those with more experience.
Paper and basic drawing materials are supplied, but you are free to bring your own favourite medium. Tea and coffee and light refreshments are provided free, but please bring a packed lunch.
Numbers are limited to 10 per class, and pre-booking is essential.
DUE TO CORONAVIRUS, THE MARCH, APRIL AND MAY WORKSHOPS ARE CANCELLED, AND JUNE 6TH IS UNDER REVIEW.
