“Elegante”

Charcoal and pastel study of a working horse and rider at the Royal Stables, Cordoba.  I visited Cordoba in 2025 and was privileged to watch the riders and horses as they trained and exercised.  In the evenings there is a formal display, but I really enjoyed the more relaxed and intimate atmosphere of the practice sessions.
