A dramatic interpretation of a family of three black and white horses. The mare is on the right and the others are her youngsters. There is something compelling about the patterning on the coats of these horses. I added the forelocks and manes as a softening feature.
The medium is charcoal, chalk and paint on canvas and the size (unframed) is 800 x 600 mm.
