“Portrait of “Charm””

Charcoal, paint and pastel drawing inspired by a photograph of a Lusitano mare, “Charm”.  This subject has been an inspiration for some years.  I was demonstrating how to build a drawing using techniques such as line, loose charcoal and memory to prepare for a more resolved study.  This was the result.
