Hand-painted extra long length double weight velvet scarf “Easter Bonnet”

Exquisite and colourful hand-painted extra long double-weight velvet scarf by artist Diana Hand.  184 cm x 15 cm  Easter brights in vivid greens, blues and reds with that extra touch of yellow! One of my most painterly abstract pieces.

I have made these scarves for many years and have literally sold thousands of them! They are made from a viscose and silk mix to create the finest and most durable velvet available, with a wonderful luxurious feel.

The colour effects in the light are subtle and spectacular. Each piece is totally unique and personally painted and finished by myself in my Scottish workshop, using wash-fast dyes that are completely absorbed into the texture of the material. The velvet is 15% silk and 85% viscose.
