Horses in the Woods #3 The One

This work is inspired by my local village fields. For years a family of horses lived in this meadow and I was fascinated by their outlines amongt the winter trees.
I have done a series on this subject. This is the most resolved version. So I call it “The One” for now.
Shown in “The Horse in Art 2025” exhibition with Society of Equestrian Artists.
The medium is charcoal, chalk and paint on canvas and the size (unframed) is 800 x 600 mm.
