A customer once sent me a photo of her patterned Knapstrub horse. Its black and white spotted coat blended in the the trees and shrubs. It continues to be an inspiration, but this is a distillation of that subject.
The medium is charcoal, chalk and paint on canvas and the size (unframed) is 800 x 600 mm.
