Charcoal and paint drawing inspired by a photograph by Keron Psillas Oliviera in her book “Lusitano”.
I am a keen anatomist and often seek to establish that structure in order to make a free and expressive drawing. In this case I was able to translate my understanding effectively to express the movement and physique of the horse. The original smaller drawing (Image size 290 x 390 mm, framed size 560 x 455) is available in the exhibition.
